HOMECOURT CLASSIC is an annual basketball tournament in Western Massachusetts centered around community connection and emotional health. Studies in psychology show that play is essential to development in children and is an excellent tool for emotional regulation for everyone. Opportunities for neighbors tocome together allow us to get to know new people, share and find new resources, and increases the feeling of security for everyone but the oligarchs.

Local sponsors and town management have made possible the organization of an additional block party, with games and food, open to all ages, families welcome. The youth tournament is held in the morning, with the prize ceremony happening at 12:30 with the adult bracket to follow, wrapping up around 4PM. Games will be twenty minutes or first team to 21. There is a free throw contest that will take place as a punctuation between games. Grilling and family games will happen on the nearby field. Players are encouraged to sign up individually or with a team. Registration for the 2026 tournament closes on April 24th. Again, free to all.
